President - Stephanie Seymour

Hello! I am a senior double majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering! I joined SWE as a sophomore and enjoy the community we have here. I have met some of my best friends and study buddies through here. In addition, I've been able to get mentors from previous SWE members as well as advisors and professionals that have come to present at SWE meetings. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about either of my degrees, the club, or just general information! My email is sdn55@nau.edu!

I am a rising 4th year mechanical engineering student from Phoenix, AZ. Currently. As a latina and first gen, I was lucky to find my niche within this supportive group of women and currently serves as an officer within SWE and SHPE collegiate chapters. Community service is an important aspect of my life and I am able to combine that love with academics and girl friends in STEM fields all in NAU SWE.

Hannah SWE image.jpg

My name is Hannah Thelen, I am currently a Junior studying Civil Engineering. I grew up in Nebraska, spent a few years in California, and completed high school in the Phoenix area. From there I decided to continue my studies at NAU! Since attending NAU, I have decided to join the Society of Women Engineers. I love SWE for many reasons. With SWE I have gained knowledge in how to network, how to connect with the community, proper study and time management skills, and have gained friends with similar studies and interests. If you have any questions about your degree, or really anything, please contact me! My email address is hmt224@nau.edu. I would be happy to hear from you! (:
